SHORT TOURS
“Hayal” is used for beechwood (Fagus sylvatica).
From Lanzasagudas, the last place that was inhabited by bears long time ago, we will see the largest beechwood of Biscay: the beechwood of Balgerri.
After facing a slope, we will get into the forest, made up by trees with complicated shapes formed by the charcoal makers. After walking over the leaves that cover the ground, we will leave the forest to walk through the moors. This area is used by apiarists to obtain one of the purest honeys.
To conclude, we will descend through oaks which little by little gain ground to the moors.

2 - BOHERIZA
The word “boheriza” is used for stable; they were used specially for oxes.
The beechwoods are the most representative forests of the Ordunte Mountains. The beechwood of La Calera or la Boheriza is located at low altitude and it is the less steep. Apart from that, the sounds, the dense moss and the beautiful streams make this route ideal for families who want to enjoy nature.
In this case, instead of following an established route, we will go for a walk in the woods, occasionally stopping to hear the sounds of the forest.
